This is strictly confidential since Fin2k6 is still being tested,
so please don't mention anything about this to anyone (especially
on-list) but the answer is yes. Finale 2006 supports the GPO
instruments directly from Finale (technically as Audio Units
plugins), without having to go through that awful GPO studio. So
playback using GPO is VASTLY improved. I can play back 20+
instruments simultaneously without having to reduce the polyphony
and with no pops, skips, or dropouts, and with scrolling playback
turned on.
If you haven't already pre-ordered, I highly recommend you do so.
