You lose state, *and* you are required to access a dialog box. A db is much 
more dispruptive than a menu choice, esp. on Macs (due to modeless plugin 
dialog bug). And a keyboard macro is much more reliable with menu items than 
with dialog boxes. It's a minor disaster, really.

The nerve of MM to call it "Engraver" Copy & Paste astounds me, when all 
they've done is merge existing functionality into a single dialog box and fix 
one long-standing bug. (Clef copying). But btw they've removed some real 
convenience and power in doing it.
