I was playing with this on a Mac earlier today, so I suppose I should
have seen the same thing as you. But then again, I was getting
frustrated and I might be remembering wrongly.

Well, I've been an official Mac "switcher" for only a couple of years,
so I've never run into anything like this. In fact, I still do any
MIDI sequencing that's necessary via Cakewalk Pro Audio or Sonar on a
Windows machine. Hopefully my total experience with FinMac2k6 is
better than today turned out.

By the way, the copy of Finale I use at work has a Mac serial number,
but at home it was originally a Windows install. Had I not read this
list or used Finale at work, I would never have known about the
AppSupport deletion... which is a case-in-point for Finale to send out
the warning email to registered Windows users as well.
