We're only talking about get the notes and rhythms right, nothing else.

And that should be relatively easy to do without having to make a bunch of changes to Finale's default MIDI import settings.

As it stands, the results are not as good as one gets with other programs translating MIDI data *only* into notes and rhythms. And I think that's where the complaint lies.

I am glad I don't often need to do MIDI import. It would drive me crazy if I did.
