Eric,
You are not alone. There are some lagging problems in this release. I have tested a few machines along with my 6 month old laptop a 17", 1.5 Ghz, 2GB Ram, with max. Video card at 128MB, and upgraded to a speeder hard drive. I get the same delay. But on the other side of the coin we do not have any lag when dragging Smart Shapes around anymore.
Please write MM to get this fixed.
