Use the tremolo articulation for a bowed tremolo. You don't need an

Hmmmm...
I don't like this so far.
GPO tremolo is listed right bellow GPO pizz. First of all, it seems
everyone but you reached this pizz because there is no clear
documentation of all about this.

Yes, we all agree the documentation is terrible and the default files supplied with Finale 2006 is terrible. (It even has the wrong character selected for multimeasure rests!) Those "dump" expressions should absolutely not be in the default file -- maybe a library, but not the default file. Coda will be releasing new default files on their website soon, and hopefully the "dump" expressions will be removed and replaced with expressions that are NOT defined for playback.

I can't find the list of FinGPO auto detect items. Without a written
list, this thing is a wast of time like some of us has been doing as
well as we wasting your time, Dercy. Do you not think so?

I agree. There is a (partial) Human Playback dictionary in the Appendix to the Finale documentation. I have been bugging MakeMusic to release the full HP dictionary for a _long_ time now. If you think this is important, email macsupport.

For one thing, I noticed FinGPO will not unload samples form RAM when
you disable NI. This is bad.

No, that's by design. It makes it quick to switch back and forth between SoftSynth and AU/VST playback. Otherwise, you'd have to re-load the GPO samples every time you switched.

I do think there should be an option to manually unload AU/VST instruments from memory (without losing the setup, of course). Right now, the only way to do this is to turn off AU/VST playback, then close and re-open the document.
