I believe that for my printer (Epson 6400), had a built in Driver ... but I guess I'll find out. If I have to, I'm sure I can dig up the CD somewhere in my den.

Thanks,

Dean

Oh, BTW, I now have a new iMac G5, 2Ghz computer sitting in my house. Darcy, et al, let me run down what I think will be the process of data exchange, and please let me know if I'm missing something.

1 connect two computers via FireWire
2 boot up old iMac
3 make sure the pre-installer from MM is on the Desk Top (important or not, I don't know?)
4 boot up new G5
5 when prompted, upload data from old to new
6 start playing with new G5, cry when things don't work, and ask you more stupid questions

You will have to install your printer drivers from scratch, at least on my computer they didn't get tranfered.

Johannes,

You only need to reinstall printer drivers if your printer driver isn't already included in OS X. Most common consumer printers have OS X drivers built-in.
