I don't have Kontakt player, so that's not an issue. I looked up the other point in the Sibelius manual--sorry, User Guide--and found that on Mac the program uses QuickTime instruments by default. So that means, I gather, that using iTunes to make a sound file from the midi file should work. Lemme try it and see what happens.
