Situation: I am working on a volume with 23 separate organ pieces, all between 2 and 4 pages long. I need to change the order, so that eg 9 and 10 are exchanged. Has anyone experience with this, especially in 2k6 with the new copying behaviour?

I have done this in the past, and it has always been a lot of work. Here is what I usually do, if remember correctly:

1) Make all title textblocks on the relevant pages measure-attached (that way they move to the correct page more easily).

2) Insert the correct number of systems before eg No 9, to make room for No 10 (layout tool). Insert extra measures where necessary (measure tool).

3) Use TGTools to copy the System Optimization from 10 to the new systems.

4) Copy the music using mass edit (should I use Robert's mass copy?)

5) Delete the original No 10 (using delete staves from the layout tool)

6) Renumber all measures starting from No 9. (This is when I really start cursing Finale, why can't it have some more intelligent measure number handling?!)

This is a major hassle and it still requires manual reworking. It's very easy to mess up and many times I have thanked Finale for unlimited undo. Is there an easier way to do this?
