I recently read a good review of Dell's UltraSharp 2005FPW 20-inch
LCD monitor ($525):

This monitor, as well as the 24-inch version (2405FPW, $1019),
rotates 90 degrees. (Well, I _think_ the 24-inch model rotates.)
Is anyone on the list using either of these monitors with a Mac and
Tiger? If so, does the rotation work?
I did find one message at Cnet that this monitor _will_ work with a
G5 Power Mac, but no mention of rotation:

I have the 24 inch model, and it's a very good monitor indeed.
It can do rotation, though I'm yet to upgrade to Tiger. It's great
rotated in Finale - you can put an entire portrait page on there. The
only thing is that it takes some getting used to because it's so big,
and the constant up-and-downing from top to bottom of the page can give
you a sore neck.
There are reports that the portrait mode in Tiger is quite a bit slower
for some reason.
Strongly recommended in any case.
(I wouldn't pay the full price if I were you for the larger model -
looking at dealmac.com, Dell often have good deals on this monitor, e.g.
the most recent one with coupons pushed the price down to US$779. If
you can wait, you'll save.)
