Here's a poser for everyone...
Back in 1972 or thereabouts there was a recording made of a
"symphonic version" of the Who's "Tommy" by the London Symphony
("Tommy - As Performed by the London Symphony Orchestra & Chamber
Choir"). I'm trying to find out if the music for this thing still
exists.
Here's my guess, although that's all it is. That version had to be
done with the permission of the copyright owner or agent, so my guess
is that if it's available at all, it would be through the copyright
owner or agent of the original "Tommy."
