Unfortunately the "measures" are of varying time periods. And I had totally forgotten about turning off automatic spacing- thanks for the reminder. Complicating all mentioned before will be graphic designs whose widths are to be time-based, too. Wheeee!!! Think I have a handle on it now thanks to all the great tips!
