Seems like there's a few knowledgeable Bach people here, so I'll just ask for some suggestions on a piece I'm teaching. It's the Little Prelude in d minor, BWV 935 - in the Henle edition it's the 3rd one in the 2nd set. What I'm looking for is an elegant way to terminate the tied trill in bar 4-5. I'm also a little confused by the fact that Schmieder's incipit for this prelude doesn't show the tie, and gives a different sign for the trill than Henle. I don't have another authoritative edition on hand, so any feedback on that would be welcome too. It seems awkward to just stop the trill on the downbeat, and it seems a bit busy to execute a turn on the last 16th of the measure, although that could work, especially given the compound ornaments he gives in bar 23.

TIA

Ken
