Greetings...
Being a habitual late adopter, I just received my Finale 2006 packet
(perhaps not quite as habitually late as usual...) What I received
is "Finale 2006 for Windows® and Macintosh® DVD Version". My
question, before I insert anything into anything, is: Does this DVD
installer have or not have the installer bug that was trashing folks'
preferences/address books back when the initial release occurred? I
seem to recall there being something about a "warning message" being
sent out with the materials after the first mess, but there's nothing
like that in the packet. I also saved an 8/30 e-mail message from
Darcy referencing a "Finale Mac Pre-Installer" to run before
installing, but when I searched for that on the Finale Downloads page
just now, got 0 hits. So I'm figuring that this is a "fixed"
installer, but want to be sure before I do anything...
Advice?
