I don't like the fact that at arbitrary intervals, the screen layout 
will jump around and the width of measures will change. That is a 
distraction during note entry. I don't space until I've done the note 
entry. And I space again when I'm ready to start page layout. I just 
don't like the distraction of things happening that move things 
around onscreen.

I just don't see the benefit of automatic music spacing. To me it 
makes Finale harder to use.
