I use WinFin2K3 and I found that clip files had absolutely no 
advantages over direct copying and inserting. Indeed, they took more 
time and littered my hard drive with files that were useless after 
copying, and didn't bring in any more of the source file than 
Copy/Insert did.

I concluded that clip files are a waste of time, and I've got lots 
and lots of these files to do, something on the order of 15 or so 
complete works left, each in 3 or 4 movements. I've already combined 
a half dozen of them, trying clip files vs. copying/inserting, and 
now do it all with copy/insert.
