Oops - I forgot I have one more question along these lines... Is there also

Well, the question is: what would you like Finale to do if there is more (or less) space available in a system? If you have a measure that is identical to some other measure, there is no guarantee that the surrounding measures are identical, so what would YOU do with the extra (or missing) space?

You can set measure widths individually by double-clicking the upper left handle in the Measure Tool, then entering a number in the Measure Width box. You can check the width of a measure you like, and copy that number to the other measures. Be careful, though, to do this at the end, because this value is cleared and reset when spacing the measure (which you probably have set to do automatically every time you enter something into the measure.)
