I concur with David on this. It's an unfortunate oversight by MM that Bill's settings were not preserved when he upgraded, but ultimately the only problem Bill suffered was that he needed to choose Update Layout -- I too remember when it was called "Recalc Music" -- something which several on the list were able to immediately diagnose. I can understand why that would be frustrating for him, but it's certainly no reason to call for changing the program so that it no longer accommodate those of us who prefer to work with Update Layout off.
