Hola, Chuck!
The most important is to have a different (Finale) instrument defined for
each staff and/or voice. Every instrument defined will appear as a track in
the exported MIDI file. If you fail to do so, Finale will mix all the notes
sharing the same (Finale) instrument in the same track.
Percussion maps should not be a problem.
