I've done this sort of thing for years. Adding a hidden bass staff to a cello staff takes only seconds. Adding the harpsichord staff depends on what from what you are copying - if that music is already written, again only seconds. If you need to realize it, it will take longer. If the whole thing was realized to start and you need to explode a cello part from a keyboard part to start, that will take a few minutes. (Sorry I haven't been reading the thread carefully from the start to know exactly the condition of the original staff or staves.) But to insist on three patches for playback from one channel, seperate control of each, with different octaves, may be asking a bit much. But I agree that a continuo setup with figured bass figures that could optionally play back would be an excellent area for MM to explore. There would have to be patch choices on the bass instrument, with the option of adding an 8ba instrument. Could work!
