A few good or excellent pieces in no particular order:

Schnittke concerto
Walton concerto
Shostakovich sonata
Britten 'Lachrymae'
Xenakis 'Embellie'
Dillon 'Siorram'

OK, the last two are perhaps more to do with my interests than core repertoire ;)

I think Hindemith wrote some stuff for the instrument, too, but I don't know it at all.
