Bill,

The Courtesy Accidentals plugin is incapable of changing any pitches. The pitches must have been entered incorrectly in the first place, and the Courtesy Acci's plugin is just revealing what the notes "really" are (like "Check Accidentals" or "Check Ties").

Also, the plugin doesn't normally change the enharmonic spelling, either. However, plugin results are sometimes erratic on transposing staves.

You can, of course, select a range of measures and use "Respell Notes" to spell them with sharps, flats, or a spelling table.

Hello Finale;

I tried forcing accidentals with the 'courtesy accidentals' plugin. It not only changed the pitch when it shouldn;t have, it used the wrong kind (i.e. F# rather than Gb). Is there a way to fix those over a certain range of measures without painstakingly having to edit the *&^%#$%& things one at a time?

Yours; Bill S.
