Hey Johannes,
I forgot to mention -- another thing you can try (assuming the
vanishing notes are not under a slur) is reducing the length
controller (try 33% instead of the default 50%). You can do this
globally in the Kontakt Player, or only for a selected passage in
Finale by using a invisible expressions that modify controller #21 .
