Have you updated to 2006b? This sounds an awful lot like the note eating
bug that got fixed, not specifically studio view...
The updater I downloaded the day it was announced didn't work either! I wonder if anyone else had that problem (OS 10.3.9)
I was offlist for awhile and didn't realize there was a note eating bug. No wonder tech support didn't mention it.
I did change the default from Studio View and was told "they made a note of the problem" with studio View as a default.
Meanwhile, a few hours of composition is lost forever. This is not what I expect of a professional program (which i have used since 3.7.2).
