I have a piece which stays in tempo to the very end, even accelerating

It is not in the prefs, you have to select Style: Custom... to get there.
Actually, I also find the final bar ritardando a little excessive, kind
of Stockowski effect, especially as the last note is very much lengthened.
On the other hand I'd love to have an invisible expression which would
tell HP to apply an end-of-movement rit and fermata, in the middle of a
piece, where there isn't a final barline. Eg in a Menuet where the last
bar line is a repeat barline.
