Yep! I find all kinds of things while browsing.


I write software for a living. I also write the manuals and I also handle
customer service calls. Not for MakeMusic, however. It is practically
impossible to write tech documentation that will serve all the people all the time. I not defending Make Music -- they are no better or worse than
many others.

The manual (printed) for the version I started on (3.2) won some sort of award for technical writing, I seem to recall. It was fantastic! I used to bring it along with me on the bus (which I could never do with the online manual!) and learned the program very well, at that level.

I have never been able to get the same depth of reading in the online manual. I can't stare at a computer screen for that long.
