Another problem has arisen - can anybody help?
I have installed Finale2006(Win) onto my main computer at home and now need to install it to my laptop. The laptop is not recognising the disk at all. The version I have says on the box "DVD version" - I wasn't offered any alternative but since both my computers are able to play DVDs I didn't expect any problems. Any ideas?

I ran into this once with CD's, where I had a disk which would not read on some units. The way I solved it was to use a unit which would read the disk, burn a back-up (which U.S. copyright laws expressly permit), which the machine which would not read the distribution disk did recognize.

Also, ir you're using DVD's, your computers may support networking, set up the network, and install the software to the laptop across the network from the drive which will read. Finally, I elected to purchase my copy form the CD version; call and see how much it is to get a copy of the CDs for back-up purposes. If MM will not sell these, ask if you are permitted to obtain back-up copies for yourself form someone who has them.
