Not in the UK. The BBC has been giving similar coverage to Shostakovich (b. 25 September 1906) since the beginning of the year. Today Mozart wins heavily, of course, but we have also had works by Antal Dorati and Takashi Yoshimatsu, who is too young to get into my Grove Concise Dictionary of Music.
