You may recall that the other day I wrote about several probs with
accessing the net and Fin not launching. Ok, the G5 is back from the
shop, the internet is getting accessed and Fin06d is launching.
However, when a new file is created, or an old one is brought up, a
couple of things happen.
(1) All the symbols look like ancient Greek, sort of (I've had this
happen before, but I can't remember the solution).
(2) I get the message window that "Missing requested plugin: Finale
GPO for bank 1" (or 2 or whatever)
and
(3) Another message window "Missing requested plugin Garritan:
Ambiance for reverb."
During all my problems with Apple tech help, we reinstalled the OS to
the original 10.4., but the shop upgraded it back to 10.4.5
I can wait to talk to Fin tech tomorrow, but I thought some of you
guru types might have a quick answer.
