Here is how to get this to work.
You should be able to toggle between views with the normal
keystrokes (Cmd-Opt-~); otherwise, go into System Preferences,
Keyboard and Mouse, Keyboard Shortcuts, and uncheck "Move Focus to
Window Drawer." That will fix it in Finale, and it should have
Tiger's full list of shortcuts that override the application.
This answer would apply if you used Fin2k5 in Tiger - which you aren't.
Me again. Unfortunately, I am not using Tiger (10.4), I am using
Panther (10.3.9), and the keyboard shortcut he mentions does not
exist. Also, Cmd-Opt-~ does nothing at all at any time in this
version of Finale.
I have not seen this behaviour, but I think you should write back to
tech support and tell them that they are thinking about the wrong
versions of both your operating system and Finale.
I can only say that this reply does not really surprise me.
To judge from the replies I am getting from Customer Support, they
don't seem to be seeing the info I type in when submitting a question.
I wonder why?
