The 365-Day Composition Project sounds fascinating. You might be
interested to know that Brazilian composer/performer Hermeto Pascoal
completed a 365 composition-a-day project, 'Calendário do Som'. It was

Made me think he was beginning to go PDQ Bach on us, and writing the
same thing forwards, backwards, in different keys, and calling each
short piece (*from 2-12 bars) a "new composition", which would be pretty
necessary to do 365 pieces in one day.
