I use WinVNC regularly because my computers for different purposes are in different rooms. I say it's similar to the "old Citrix" because I don't know what's changed. WinVNC is basically an interface replicator which is what Citrix was back then. Many users can view and use the remote computer simultaneously, but it doesn't actually serve any applications.
