I'm working on a multi-movement cantata. Orchestral score.
The way I would choose would depend upon the details of the relationship
between the narration and the music. If there is no accompaniment, I'd
use text blocks; if the relationship is somewhat tighter, so that
specific musical events coincide with certain points in the narration,
I'd probablyuse lyrics.
