One thing that didn't get mentioned is possible radio interference
from other devices, which can have two effects:
1. makes the mouse movements inaccurate/unreliable
2. causes the batteries to run down very fast.
A client of mine gave up on the wireless mouse because of this.
I tried one but took it back because every time it sat for a few
seconds, it then took a couple of seconds of frustrating delay while it
found its radio connection again. Is this usual?
I've never had any such problem with my microsoft comfort wireless
keyboard and mouse. They respond right away, all the time.
