I remember when I bought Graphire, the owner/developer personally called
me and we talked about Engraving and what not. I was a young College
student then. I used it for a couple of projects, but then decided to
pursue Finale more because that is what everyone was using at school.
Still, when it was compared to Finale, Graphire was infinitely more
tweak-able, and the output was just......amazing.

It's nothing sinister, but I have to treat the conversation as
confidential. I do know that the investment of time and effort in Graphire
was substantial, sincere, and wholehearted. I've waited several years, so a
few more months for a definitive answer is fine.
