Don't know about Macs, but on a Windows machine, if you've specified the folder
for backups and autosaves, this is a sure recipe for disaster, because you'll
constantly be killing all other files with the same name.
I knew I was going to hear this. Some might think so, but for me these
backups are not important, my backup strategy does not rely on them. The
only time they might get important is directly after closing a file, or
after a crash. I have never lost anything through this strategy, and I
don't usually have several files open, never two score files.
