Problem: As my file got bigger and more complex, Human Playback would sometimes neglect to play trills and tremolos in the score.

Solution: In HP Preferences (Playback Controls) change "Anticipate continuous data by..." to a larger value. I changed my number from 5 to 10 millisec and all was fine.

Responding to my own note: Trills and tremolos are temporarily written to the second layer when using HP. They are not continuous data and yet this solution still works. Go figure.

Does anyone have any more clues as to how HP interprets data?

Darcy? You seem to be up on this stuff.
