Normally the MM-skeptic, I must say I'll be right up there waving my wallet at the front of the line for this upgrade; the linked parts/score feature is (for me) well worth the price of admission alone.    Provided, of course, it actually works.   And provided, of course, the entire upgrade ain't buggier than a porchlight in August. 
 
Oh.   I guess I am still the MM-skeptic, but even so, I'll bite at this one.....

I'm happy to see some plain old bugs fixed. Let them stick out their
chests and brag about it - it's what we've all been screaming for now
for quite a while.
