I'm having problems with the playback freezing up on me. I have a laptop
(HP Pavilion dv5220us) with Windows XP Media Center. The sound card is a
Conexant High Definition Audio.
I never had this problem on my old desktop, but the playback will just
suddenly stop on the laptop (which has more "oomph" than the desktop).
If anyone can offer any help, I would greatly appreciate it!
What other applications are running in the background? Perhaps turning
off your networking or making sure your browser and e-mail programs are
not running simultaneously.
Something is diverting the CPU away from playback.
