Hi Finale Gurus: I'm in F07 on Mac OS X
I am getting odd behavior in parts concerning breaking a multimeasure rest, so I thought I'd start clean and test some settings. This is how I'm testing: I open a new doc, add two lines and some notes in all bars in top, and only in one bar in the others. Somewhere around mm 4 or 5 I add a score expression (a rehearsal letter) and select "break multimeasure rest". In the dialog box for "show on" staff list, I select staff one: score and staff one, two, and three: parts. I then generate parts. The multimeasure rest does NOT break in the 2nd or 3rd staff (and therefore doesn't show the rehearsal number). If I go back and change the "show on" staff list to top staff of score and part, the parts are repaired. Then, I begin again and repeat everything but enter the "show on" staff list initially as show on top staff of score and part: all is well. The problem is that I'm in a big score and need tempo markings in two places, not just on the top staff. I have update automatically turned on in the doc options for multimeasure rest. Can you replicate? Is it a "bug" or am I misunderstanding something about the settings? If it isn't working for you, have you any quick ideas for getting around it?
