Well, with this second system I honestly cannot understand how one could
have any doubts about what is written. Clearly the 32nds figures start
on the beat. Now your only decision is whether you want to modernize the
notation into 16th triplets (which I would do regardless of keeping to
the source) or whether you want to keep them as uncorrectly notated
32nds by modern standards.
Using 16th also makes note entry in Finale a lot easier...
