Does anyone know how to edit the part name header staff style that is
in the 2007 big band template, (or where to find out about it it in
the manual)?
Finale's template is different from my old one in that the trumpets
are listed in the score with one group name "Trumpets in B flat", and
1,2,3, and 4 on the respective staves. Then there is a staff style
applied to each staff that applies a header with Trumpet in B flat
and the respective number on each part. I'd like to edit that to
remove the "in B flat", but the text is set up as an insert, and it
seems to be un-editable.
I have changed the "full staff name" in the score to just Trumpet,
but this doesn't affect the insert of "full staff name" as it is
applied in the staff style that creates the header. I hope I have
been clear about this. I can't figure out what it is that I am missing.
Does anyone know where the control for that insert resides, or how to
find out how those staff style inserts are set up?
This is another part of the 2007 learning curve for me.
