It sounds as if there's a corrupt font file there. Perhaps trying to
reinstall the Finale fonts from the installation CD might clear things
up. This is just a guess.
Before reinstalling the fonts, another way to try to pinpoint if this is
the problem would be to use your wordprocessing program and switch to
the music font that you use as the default in your Finale documents.
Type a lot of gibberish using that font, then try to change the font and
change it back and also try to print. If you have no problem with doing
it from within your word-processor, then I'm out of ideas.
