Heh, heh! In my case, WAY less! My tenor trombone cost me $300, my silver 1930 Boosey euphonium $350, and my bass trombone $1500. String players are incredulous when I tell them.
Admittedly, I am quite the bargain hunter, and I was lucky. But even so...
