Interesting. I wonder if this qualifies as a bug, or working as designed? I can understand the need to apply a staff style first, but it seems that Mass Edit, the notehead plugin, and the note shape tool should then all give the same UI and the same results.


I checked the behavior in WinFin2006 and it is exactly the same as in WinFin2007, so if it's a bug nobody has run into it before (at least not on this list that I recall reading about).

it seems like something isn't right -- it shouldn't be such a convoluted mess to change more than one notehead at a time.
