I have asked for this, formally through the Finale Support site, and informally when I speak with MM personnel. What I asked for was Patterson Beams as a selectable Document Option. Perhaps that's not the best way to accomplish this end, but it was how I thought to ask for it at the time. David, If you haven't already done so, please write Finale support and add your voice to my request.
