Not just spectacular -- vernacular, molecular, secular, circular, particular, perpendicular, vehicular, testicular, extracurricular, jocular, binocular, avuncular, muscular, corpuscular.
There's a very large body of -cular words pulling the pronunciation in that direction, against virtually none that end with a sound like -cle-ar.
