I recently bought Adobe Distiller. I was previously using PStill or the
MacOS built in PDF support.
Surprisingly I have never ever had as many PDF problems before as I am
now having with Adobe Distilled files. The main problem is random
missing characters from the Maestro font (they are replaced by a
rectangle character), but only when printing (on a non-postscript
printer). The problems do not show on screen.
Does anyone know where the problem is, and what can be done about it? I
have gone back to PStill for the moment, but I would at least like to
know where the problem lies.
