I have just finished a score and am doing the parts now. I must say that
cue notes are still a real nightmare in Finale. Especially in
complicated contemporary scores. And Linked Parts have not made them easier.
I really, really hope that Finale will find a better answer to cue notes
in the future. It is the one thing that really takes me ages to do. A
Cue note tool would be at the top of my wish list. It is a disgrace that
this cannot be done more efficiently, since all the data is already
there. This is the area where the help of a computer could make things a
lot easier.
