I have arrived at what may be a decent way to handle linked parts in a C score. This is a chamber music score, so besides the issue of needing separate beam angles, etc., for the transposed part, there are no other major issues. What I did was to leave Display in Concert Pitch unchecked. The score has a staff of the part that is not transposed, and the he part uses a duplicate of the staff that is optimized out of the score. I still have to do the edits twice for the transposing parts, but they are all in the same file, and it is very simple to copy the edits from one staff to another.
